Movie Night

Later that night, at the pack house, Kayd takes her bag up to their room, taking two to three stairs at a time. She was not in a hurry to climb all those stairs and with his speed he was there and back in no time.

She wanders into the kitchen to start popping the popcorn for the group. If she...could just reach...the box! She was by no means short, but the pantry was huge, I mean what do you expect when trying to feed a literal pack of wolves?! She stretched as far as she could even on her tippy toes, she was just shy of her goal.

He walks towards the kitchen until he stops and watches her from around the corner as her smaller frame tries to reach for something at the top of the pantry. Her huffs and puffs melt his heart as she continues to struggle with reaching for something.

He realizes that this is the happiness he's been waiting on, his mother and father's type of love, the little things that she does that cause him to smile uncontrollably, it all made sense.

"Ahem...You know instead of staring at me and swooning, you could be helping me, sweetheart."

He snaps back to reality. "This whole 'you reading my thoughts' thing is disturbing because we haven't even mated yet. This is different from our mind link, adding to the mystery of my beautiful and super sexy wife to be."

She looks over her shoulder as he stands behind her grabbing the microwave popcorn, she so desperately tried to get herself.

"I didn't, I can hear your growling like the creepy stalker that you are. On another note, I'll be your wife when you make it official. I still have human tendencies, Luna ceremony or not, I'd like an actual wedding. I think that's fair, right?"

He hands her the popcorn then proceeds to pick her up and place her on the countertop, her short shorts doing nothing to cover her from the cold surface and she yelps before wrapping her legs around his waist pulling him in.

"Whatever you want, your happiness is priority. Until then will you accept the title of super serious live-in girlfriend?"

She giggles into the kiss. "Of course, I will, boyfriend. Now, before you start something let me off this countertop." His hands slide up and down her upper legs as he tries to control his urges.

She gasps, "Wow! Now I can hear you."

He slides his arms around her waist as he leans into his hug.

"I'm not going to hide my feelings; you're just going to have to hear all of my dirty thoughts about you." She sighs dramatically.

"Don't worry, I have a few times. It's like a to...do list." She licks her lips and smiles slyly, causing his entire body to shiver in response.

Just then Brent strolls in. "Seriously, you two? Get a room!" He chuckles as he opens the fridge to grab drinks and ice cream, undoubtedly for the movie room.

"Get out, Brent!" He growls and Brent holds his hands up in defeat and she places her hands on his face.
